Ghanaian musicians are not growing in the international market – OLISA Franklin

TNR Music frontlier Olisa Franklin has in an exclusive interview with Africanhitz.com said Ghanaian musicians are not growing in the international market, the afrobeat head made this revelation saying as quoted : Most musician in Ghana aren’t playing the right tactics when it comes to promoting their music and brand, there are a lot of good musicians in Ghana but I feels their management and PR team aren’t doing them much good because even in Nigeria there are lot of songs from Ghana played all over the place but, yet those artist don’t know how big they are in Nigeria and even not known.

Olisa Franklin’ went ahead to disclose a few names who are making major moves in promoting their self in the international market and in Nigeria, which are Sarkodie, VVIP, Stonebwoy, and Dblack.

He said these musician are going as far as doing international collaboration and traveling to get their music heard in other countries, but he feels some musician in Ghana rather feels comfortable in the little space they find their selves.

Formerly known as Plus Franklin, Olisa Franklin lived and performed in Ghana and has recently released his latest visuals to song ‘DARK CHOCOLATE’ ahead of the release of his collaboration with Afrobeat artiste, Seun Kuti and jazz sensation, Etuk Ubong.

Olisa Franklin hails from Anambra State in Nigeria, signed unto TNR Music and currently in Ghana to promote his music and looking forward to having some collaboration with some heavy weight musicians in Ghana.
