A Ghanaian-based analytics start-up, Wave-2 Analytics Limited, will organise the maiden Ghana Data Science Summit 2019 from April 25 to April 27, 2019 at the Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT. Dubbed: “IndabaX Ghana” the three-day event, aims to bring increased awareness and capacity building efforts in data science and analytics (including data mining, machine learning, and artificial learning) to Ghana. The event, being sponsored by Deep Learning Indaba, Google, and Microsoft, would be on the theme: “The Promise of Data Science for Economic Transformation.” Other partners would include Python Ghana, the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at the University of Ghana, and BACE GROUP.
