The Ghana Armwrestling Federation (GAF), on Tuesday, launched the 9th Africa Armwrestling Championship dubbed “Accra 2018” in Accra. The championship, fixed for Thursday 26th – Sunday 29th July this year, would see Accra as the host city with over 15 other countries, participating. Ghana was awarded the rights to host in 2017 after beating Morocco to the bid. Mr Charles Osei Assibey, president of GAF, speaking at the launch said, it was a great opportunity for the country to host such an event.
